This homemade lemonade recipe is one of the easiest summer drinks to make. A combination of sour and sweet will get you going in the scorching hot weather. And what can be classical than lemonade, with a bit of tanginess!

There may be many ways to make lemonade, but there is only one way to make a tangy lemonade!!!

How to Make Tangy Lemonade

Ingredients/Material

For 1 serving, all you need is

  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup of cold water
  • 1 teaspoon of black salt
  • A pinch of pepper
  • Crushed ice, as desired

Instructions

  1. Take a tall glass and pour in the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Add the sugar and stir well until it completely dissolves
  2. Now, here comes the fun part, you fill the glass up with water (approx. 3/4 to 1 cup). Game changing tip: Use sparkling soda water instead to make it taste even better)  - And plus, the sizzling sound is just so satisfying.
  3. To bring the tanginess into play, add a pinch of pepper, 1 teaspoon of black salt, and stir it all in. 

Now what?

Well....

Now take a straw and dunk it in the glass. Splash! Your tangy lemonade is ready to be served (or you can have it all to yourself, which I'm sure you will). Go ahead and sip away.

How to Make Watermelon Refresher

Ingredients/Material

For 2 serving, all you need is

  • 4 cup so watermelon chunks
  • 1/2 cup of coconut water
  • zest and juice of 1 lime
  • a blender (smoothie maker, or food processer can work as well)
  • Crushed ice, if desired

Instructions

  1. Making this is very simple. All you have to do it take the ingredients, put it in the blender, and blend it until the mixture becomes a smooth puree.
  2. Pour it out into a glass and add crushed ice, if desired.
  3. The most important step of all..... ENJOY!!

How to Make Our Strawberry Splash

Ingredients/Material

For 2 serving, all you need is

  • a blender (smoothie maker, or food processer can work as well)
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 1 and 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon simple zest
  • 1/4 cup ginger ale
  • Crushed ice, if desired
  • Additional strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add water, sliced strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and zest. Blend well until smooth.
  2. Pour out the puree into a pitcher and add ginger ale to it. Stir well.
  3. And now it's ready to serve.
  4. Optional: For a better presentation, add crushed ice and garnish with strawberries to serve.

How to Make The Shirley Temple

Ingredients/Material

For a single (1) serving, all you need is

  • 2 tablespoon grenadine          
  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda (such as sprite)
  • 1/2 cup of ginger-ale
  • Cherries to garnish, optional

You can also substitute grenadine with raspberry syrup, cranberry juice, or even  pomegranate juice. However please note that there will be a subtle taste difference.

Instructions

  1. In a glass, add crushed ice. Pour grenadine over the ice.
  2. Fill the glass with lemon-lime juice and ginger ale.
  3. Stir everything together

And there you have it, your Shirley Temple, all yours, from the comfort of your home, made by you!
